Additionally, every semester each faculty allocates a number of research assistant positions to graduate students. Depending on the number of available research assistant positions in the departments, applicants may be considered for full-time or part-time research assistant. A full-time research assistant receives a salary and is exempt from paying tuition fee whereas a part-time assistant receives half of the salary that is received by full-time research assistant, and is exempt from half of the tuition fee, excluding the student fund, for a semester.
